WATERSPOUTS...?
The time was about 2ish in the pm... was being a complete couch potato and watching MTV when my mom said she spotted some kinda twister-like thingy. I jumped up and rushed to the windows. There it was... looking so majestic and magnificent. I was enthralled. It was beautiful... and it was moving .... circling around and around. This was my first time seeing it and I had to snap a pic of it. So here they are....

Cool, huh? This reminded me of a scene from the movie X2, the sequel of the X-Men trilogy. The scene in which Storm uses her elemental powers to get the fighter planes off their backs. Super cool. Ahakz! Anyways, I emailed the pics to The New Paper and got a reply from one of their journalists that they may want to use these pics for printing. Hehe... cool, ay? We'll see, if they do.
Well, then I did a research and actually found out that these are called waterspouts. Waterspouts are simply tornadoes over water. But though they have a similar structure to some tornadoes, they form much differently. Waterspouts are common in tropical areas where thundershowers occur frequently. But waterspouts also can spin up beneath puffy cumulus clouds without lightning or thunder. Sweet, ay?
